POP-Maker v1.0 You can use POP-Maker to create 5.25" Prince of Persia game disks on real Apple II hardware. The game disks created by POP-Maker are 18-sector disks that are interchangeable with the original retail game disks. The game disks created by POP-Maker also include fixes for two bugs in the original game: 1. Improved keyboard controls for Apple IIe and IIc hardware. The original game has a bug that can cause the keyboard controls to be unreliable on some IIe and IIc hardware. 2. Fixed the "Waving Jordan" easter egg on IIc hardware. The original easter egg did not run in IIc hardware due to differences in VBlank detection between the IIc and the IIe/IIgs. POP-Maker is a ProDOS application. It is distributed on a single 800k 3.5" floppy disk, or three 5.25" floppy disks. The 800k version can also run from a ProDOS hard drive folder. See MANUAL.html for full instructions.
